Description
Kanda Estate, owned by the Ndatakiura family, is a small estate operated on 5 hectares of land in Kirinyaga county near Mount Kenya. The soil here is composed of red volcanic ash and is ideal for coffee production. Red SL-28 cherries are handpicked and processed the same day through a wet mill. After pulping, the coffee is fermented overnight, washed, soaked, and left to dry on drying tables.
The cup has sugary sweetness and mouthfeel, rich caramel, dark chocolate, and brown sugar with green grape and melon flavors and tangy acidity.
